I wasn't going to see this show at all - then not one but Two people reached out with free tickets - one of them front row directly in front of the piano.
The first time I held Nick's hand, I was wearing a platinum ring and the band cracked. I mean the metal actually opened, and I had to have the ring repaired. I had them replace the whole shank and I enshrined the two side bits in a locket.
You're not wrong about the power and energy coming off that man. You're also not wrong that it comes from (and surges back through) each and all of us.
And I too love that he can and does do and say absolutely whatever he wants. I wish more people would realize life CAN and should be lived that way. You're leading by example in that regard and so am I.
This is so beautiful! Sometimes when I listen to certain songs in the car I can legit feel one of the two great friends I've lost since 2018. You describe it perfectly -- it is like a shimmer, a bubble, where suddenly your person has come back. Love you!
This. Is. Everything.
Thank You, Spike, for so beautifully expressing everything in my heart!
That is some high praise coming from you! Thank you. I just feel so incredibly alive every time I see him. Love you.
Mutual admiration!

Long Live Nick Cave!
